About mrs. shipman's sweet treats

My love for baking started in my grandmother's Creole kitchen. She taught my father to cook and bake, then he taught me. I was 16 when I made my first crust. I continued baking for friends and family throughout college and my time in the military. I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Like many people we have met in Rogersville, my family and I did not grow up here, but we are blessed enough to call it home. I want to share the love that my family taught me to extend to everyone through my baking. Homemade, with love isn't just a slogan, it's a promise.
